Senior / Lead Technical Artist

We are looking for an experienced and ambitious senior/ lead technical artist.

We are creating a multiplayer third-person shooter for PC and consoles in a sci-fi setting, with a focus on esports. The game is being developed on Unreal Engine 5. We aim to create a AAA-level product capable of bringing innovation to the gaming industry. Learn more about our project at https://farcana.com.

What are you working on?

• Genres: Shooter
• Platforms: PC

For which tasks (responsibilities)?

• Enforce memory and CPU budgets

• Oversee optimization of the levels

• Create pipelines for developing and reviewing art, models, shaders, etc from performance perspective

What kind of professional are we looking for?

• Experience in game development (preferably Unreal Engine)

• Deep understanding of C++.

• Deep understanding of render process

• Deep understanding of art asset/code/game hardware interaction.

• Ability to profile and fix issues.

• Knowledge of 3D modelling and texturing

• Knowledge of hlsl (or other shader language)

Will be a plus:

• Knowledge of Houdini

• Knowledge of Niagara

• Knowledge of Maya or Blender

• Knowledge of 3D Max

• Experience in 3D modeling and texturing

• Knowledge fo animation and VFX
